SPAGHETTI ALLA PUTANESCA

Puttanesca is derived from a word ‘puttana’ which means prostitute/whore. This sauce is allegedly from the slums of Rome. It is made by cooking tomatoes with olives, capers, garlic, chillies, anchovies & olive oil. Some say that it got its name because of its spicy flavor.
INGREDIENTS:-
1. Spaghetti
2. Garlic
3. Tomato sauce
4. Capers
5. Olives
6. Anchovy
7. Butter
8. Salt
9. Tomato dices
METHOD:-
1. Cook the pasta in plenty of salted boiling water.
2. While pasta is cooking , heat pan add oil followed by garlic, chilli & anchovy.
3. Cook till garlic starts to turn golden & anchovy melts to the base.
4. Add tomato sauce, olives, capers, & diced tomato, cook for further 5 mins.
5. Drain spaghetti, turn it into the frying pan & add some basil and parsley.
6. Toss the pasta for another 1 minute.
7. Check seasoning, serve hot at once straight from the pan.
