A feast should always end with a sweet dish that’s what my taste buds say. So after a meal in Matunga I was looking for an ice cream parlour which would satisfy my cravings. I found this small place called as Apsara Ice cream very average place from outside and made me think twice before I walked into it. Looking at the menu I found it to be interesting due to the flavours it had and the kind of variety they offered. To know more about the ice creams, ready my culinary journey which was small but full of surprises
Ferrero rocher has always been my favourite buddy from my childhood days. It included Vanilla as a base which was infused with the blend of ferrero rocher. The creaminess of the base and the crunch of the rocher made it an interesting ice cream to finish your meal with.
I had this succulent and juicy fruit long time ago during my childhood days when my care taker used to get the same for me after my school. As soon as I had the first bite my taste buds realized the flavour and re joyed it. An ice cream with delicate taste and flavour. Buy if you want to try something different, this is the ice cream you should go for.
Who said ice creams are always sweet? Here is an example of an ice cream in which both the flavours i.e. sweetness and sourness were perfectly balanced to create another unique flavour. Tamarind ice cream sprinkled with tamarind powder on top. A must try when you visit this place.
Another flavour that will blow up you mind. Smooth and creamy guava flavoured ice cream topped up with sweet and tangy powder/masala. It’s on similar lines to the guava fruit that we get on roadside carts which is sprinkled with chaat masala and chilli powder.
A place worth going, if you wish to try new flavours of ice cream served in a classical way.
