The concept of pizza has been used in lot of ways by the trending chefs around, but pizza with french fries has never been though about or rather made. Here is a dish which is compiled by using prime ingredients used for making pizza, crispy french fries tossed along with thick tomato based pizza sauce, Italian herbs and olives. This orgasm was raised to another level by topping it up with grated cheese. Melted cheese ensured that it added the final touch of being related to pizza. Each bite was a treat , making me go crazy for the next bit. The classical blend of tomato and basil dominated throughout with the saltiness of cheese.
Mushroom/ Mutton Sukha with Manglorian Noodles
This dish was available with two variations, one for vegetarians(mushroom) another for non vegetarians (mutton). Mutton/ mushroom was slow cooked along with onions, tomato and Indian spices and chilies. A munch and it will melt down on your tongue, it was succulent, juicy and full of flavours. And to add on to the beauty it was served along with thin , hair like noodles which acted as a starch on the plate enhancing the value and look. The dish had a melange of Indian masala making it perfect for Indian Palate.
Pani Puri Chicken
Yes you read it right “chicken pani puri” , another twist for one of the most hyped street food of Mumbai. It seemed like golgappa was stuffed with chopped chicken tikka , mint chutney, chaat masala, onion and sev. Golgappa are prone to moisture hence till the time they reached table the crunch went missing. If this could be served in a concept lile DIY – DO IT YOURSELF then it would surely do wonders to a different level.
Pizza stuffed Chicken Kebab
Ahhh ! Another rolercoaster ride whicch took me to 2 different cuisines, one is Italian and another was Indian. The kebab was juciy, succlent and stuffed with concentrated mixture of tomato, cheese, olives and Italian herbs. The chicken was marinated with the tandoori masala which gave a spicy feel to the taste buds and this flavour of chicken tikka was enhanced by the stuffing which added sour, herby and cheesy flavour. An amazing bar snack to go along with drinks.
Chicken Thai Satay Curry
I expected this to have a flavour profile similar to that of classical Thai curry but as soon as I had the first bite it disappointed me. The satay was bland, the flavours didn’t come out well and sauce didn’t do anything to elevate the flavours . You can avoid this dish when you visit this outlet.
Lot of places have started serving Pac and Pav concept which is nothing but a pav packed with optional stuffing. Similar concept was used here, different stuffed naan pav served along with corn salsa, fries and dip.
Butter Chicken Naan Pav
The most liked and famous chicken preparation in India was packed between nice crusty toasted bread on the bed of fried egg. The chicken was coarse, buttery, juicy and indeed gave a very nice feel to the taste buds. A complete meal in itself and worth the value you spend. Must try dish!!!
Pav Bhaji Naan Pav
Another street food that can win hearts rather to put in better words it’s the comfort food we look for. Gooey butter teased buns stuffed with a layer of spiced onions and pav bhaji. The pav bhaji was coarse with the crunch of spiced onions and butter added the final touch in terms of flavour as well as look(glow)
Dal Khichdi with Paneer Crispy
How much ever we explore or try new things but end of the day we all crave for home food. Here was a dish which had a combination of both Indian and oriental cuisine. A nice garlic dominant rice preparation made by the blend of lentil, onions, rice and tadka which was topped up with crispy cottage cheese tossed in sweet and spicy sauce. It’s a huge portion good enough for 2 people – Value for money dish it is.
3 Wise Monkey Chicken Biryani
A specialty of this place which serves layered biryani in a jar along with vegetable raita by side. The chicken in the biryani was moist, well cooked and perfectly seasoned, the rice grains were properly puffed and had a nice flavour of Indian spices. A regular layered biryani served in a different way was a absolute winner for me. Again the portion size of this dish is good enough for 2 people. Highly recommended dish.
Chocolate Brownie with vanilla Ice cream
A block of gooey chocolate brownies was placed in a martini glass topped up with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The highlight of this dessert was that it was served along with a dash of Kahlua which took it to a different level, a bite of this dessert would surely give you a kick. When you scoop in the first bite it will be chilled, but as soon as you gulp it down it would give a warm feeling because of alcohol.
Sliced peach with vanilla ice cream and strawberry crush
It is said simplicity is a strong tool, same was with this dessert a simple dessert yet it kept us hogging untill the glass was spick and span. It had sliced canned peach topped up with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of strawberry crush. The dish was well balanced in terms of sweetness by the sourness of berry drizzle. A perfect dessert to order if you wish to have something lighter or healthier.
