After reviewing a galaxy of restaurants on the streets of Mumbai, my mind say’s I can’t taste more of this modern European food. All the new outlets that open these days serve more of finger food which is being inspired by the modern trends, but we being Indians at the end of the day would like to cherish Dal Chawal more than this modern food that is being served. But trust me regional cuisines of India are going to knock back hard as India has a huge diversity in terms of food that they make and taste buds which crave for it.I managed to try food from Sindhful which is an outlet that serves a mixture of sindhi cuisine along with oriental cuisine, as I was keen on tasting the regional food I opted for Sindhi food and was amazed how simple home food can tingle you taste buds to give it a really good Foodgasm.
It reminded me of the food what my neighbor use to send across to my home during my childhood days. Cost for 2 here is ₹500 & their portion size is huge when it comes to food. It’s a place which can surely satisfy your mind, taste buds, tummy and pocket at the same time. So don’t you feel this place is a jackpot when it comes to satisfaction?
Chana Dal cooked with secret Sindhi masalas and served along with masaledar crisp flat breads and tangy chutney. Though it is a delicacy which is served usually during breakfast, but for me it acted as a perfect appetizer during my meal. Crunch of bread along with mouth melting dal, topped up with tangy chutney which altogether gave a perfect mouth feel in terms of flavours and textures. A bite and you shall cherish the flavour for long.
Chole, Pattice and Pav
Another delicacy which is usually available on lot of street carts where they serve a similar version of this dish, aloo pattice topped up with ragda and served with pav. Heart shaped potato Pattie, with a touch of North Indian Chole and butter teased fluffy Pav. I couldn’t ask for more except sliced onion and a lemon wedge, simple food with lot of love and affection is what takes this dish to a different level. A must try when you order food from this place.
Sai Bhaji with Bhuna Chawal
Sai bhaji sounds very interesting and very much tempting. Thin gravy made by using spinach, garlic, onion, chillies tomato and other Indian spices. It was served along with bhuna chawal, which is nothing but tempered rice. The bhaji along with tempered rice was a perfect combo which had a dominating flavour of garlic & spinach with a dash of chillies.
Chocolate Mud Pie
A simple chocolate based desserts which can never go wrong because it just needs good chocolate sponge cake and nice chocolate ganache to give it a binding. Sidhful serves one of the most sinful dessert in its simplest form, crumbled chocolate sponge mixed along with rich and heavy dark chocolate ganache. A perfect end to one of the most homely food any1 can have. It gives a feel of satisfaction to mind as well as your ever craving tummy.
