Green colour , 3 floored villa with salon in basement, yoga room on 1st followed by cafe on top. Light blue and white coloured scheme was bang on which made the inner atmosphere look pleasing and calm. As soon as u climb a floor, the set up will leave u excited & eager to see more. They have a traditional maharaja style seating arrangement, where you can sit on bed to have food & regular seating arrangement with chairs. So you can relax on bed after yoga and enjoy your meal. They have hung photo frames depicting different yoga asanas. The ambiance will make you fall in love with the place. So the first impression was bang on.
Being a den for health freaks, they serve organic food with minimal fats. The menu looked interesting. Every dish accompained with a quote and was self explanatory. So it was easy to pick and choose according to your interest & taste from the menu.I ordered for :-
It was a regular cappuccino , but served along with jaggery instead of sugar. Never thought about having a cofffe along with jaggery. But to my interest, it turned out very well. Jaggery added a completely different flavor to coffee which was quite refreshing. Try using less jaggery because it will make your coffee very sweet.
VEGETABLE CLEAR SOUP
he soup didn’t turn out to be as clear as the name speaks, but the flavor of soup did all the talking. It was quite refreshing and full of organic flavors. It was a simple broth made up of stock , vegetables like broccoli, bell pepper, spinach, zucchini & flavored with garlic, pepper and oregano. It was served along with toasted multi grain bread. Simplicity at its best.
“I AM TONING” – MAXI COTTAGE CHEESE BURGER
Innovative & healthy burger served with home made tomato chutney & lettuce salad. It included steamed cottage cheese patty & assorted lettuce tucked in hot crisp multi grain buns . Patty was made up of cottage cheese, olives, sun dried tomato, almond and celery . Almond added crunch in every bite I ate. The multi grain buns were applied with basil paste. The tomato chutney was made with onions, crushed tomato, coriander stems and seasoning. Sweetness of the onion balanced the sourness of tomato, while coriander stem added the punch in the line. The burger was an innovation in itself which worked out well but heavy on palate.
